Adri Cowan, Founder
With over a decade of experience in social media, marketing and public relations, owner Adri Cowan started Rogue Social as a way to transfer her experience and knowledge gained through managing large and mid-sized brands to the smaller businesses that need it most.
During her community manager position at Google+ Local and Zagat, Cowan developed a hunger for the food, drink, and hospitality industry, working with restaurants and small businesses on their social media strategies, and planning vibrant gastronomic events for local influencers.
After years in public relations and for bestselling cookbooks at Adams Media and managing social media at Marvel Entertainment for books, film (Marvel's The Avengers, Captain America, Guardians of the Galaxy), and television (ABC's Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Netflix's Marvel's Daredevil), Cowan's self-professed bibliophilia and love for pop culture comes to life through a deep knowledge of audience, promotion, and branding — and continues to grow through consultancy for industry events, creators, and best-selling authors.
As a keynote speaker and guest at industry conferences, Cowan speaks to social media strategy, the science of appealing to multiple demographics, and understanding how the customer thinks.
